The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, an equal opportunity employer, is currently seeking to hire a finance specialist to support internal office administration at its Washington, D.C., headquarters.

AASHTO said the finance specialist would perform a wide range of duties, from assisting its accounting team with running monthly financial reports and processing employee time/attendance to records maintaining relationships with vendors and acting as the staff liaison for the company’s teleconferencing/web conferencing, archive storage, and office supply services

The group added that candidates for this position must also be able to establish priorities for the completion of time-sensitive, and at times confidential, assignments.

AASHTO said successful candidates for its finance specialist position should have three-to-five years of administrative experience, preferably in an accounting environment and be proficient in PC applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications for specific assignments. College-level coursework is desired and/or related degree is preferable, but not required.
