The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Committee on Transportation Communications, known as TransComm, is offering a new webinar as part of its continuing professional development series.

The new webinar – entitled Creative Community Outreach — Building Strong Relationships (Even Virtually) – will be held on September 24 and details the public outreach initiated as part of Colorado’s largest-ever transportation infrastructure project, the Central 70 Project.

Stacia Sellers, the project’s communications manager, and Ivonne Colin, its community liaison, will share the creative, personalized outreach and engagement tactics they developed to build positive relationships with the public regarding Central 70 construction and other details via a “virtual communication landscape” due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
