Caltrans Winter Operations Profiled in AASHTO Video Series

In the latest edition of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials “State DOT’s Best” video series, the California Department of Transportation – known as Caltrans – highlights its winter operations skills.
California’s climate during the winter season can vary widely depending on latitude, elevation, and proximity to the coastline. This video demonstrates how Caltrans employees are keeping workers and the traveling public safe – all while protecting the transportation system before, during, and after extreme weather events.
