The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials is seeking a new associate program manager for planning and data, who will support the administration and implementation of programs, projects and special assignments related to the committees on planning, performance-based management, plus data management and analysis.

Job duties include the development and implementation of internal operating policies to the program director; the development, drafting, and editing of policy statements and resolutions related to policy issues of interest to members; and the development of annual program budgets. Assistance planning conferences and meetings may also be required.

Position requirements include a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, preferably in the field of transportation planning, transportation policy, or engineering.

A minimum of five years of progressively responsible, professional experience in the transportation industry is required with a focus on working with or for a membership-based organization similar AASHTO. Evidence of professional development, such as a postgraduate education, can substitute for work experience.
