The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, an equal opportunity employer, is currently seeking to hire a senior technical publications strategy specialist; a full-time position located at AASHTO’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.

This job position supports AASHTO’s director of publications in the production management of the association’s technical publications: managing large and complex documents, reviewing final proofs, and assisting in the coordination and production of digital publications.

As required, the job requires the editing and proofreading of documents; extensive communication with authors, vendors, committee members, the meetings department, and the professional technical staff; plus facilitating surveys and personal interviews with committee members, librarians, and customers.
