The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials and the National Steel Bridge Alliance have jointly issued Guidelines for the Qualification of Structural Bolting Inspectors, 2nd Edition.

The new guide supersedes the Recommendations for the Qualification of Structural Bolting Inspectors, 1st Edition, previously published by AASHTO and NSBA.

To download a free copy of this PDF publication, visit the online AASHTO Store or click here for a direct link to the new guidelines.

AASHTO and NSBA work together to develop specifications, codes, standards, and policies in an effort to unify the existing diverse requirements governing steel bridge construction. All AASHTO-NSBA Steel Bridge Collaboration publications are available to download. Click here for a complete list of AASHTO-NSBA Steel Bridge Collaboration publications.
