The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, an equal opportunity employer, is currently seeking to fill two positions at its headquarters office in Washington, D.C.
The first is for director of the organization’s AASHTOWare software technical program. This full-time position is responsible for the planning, execution, and management of the people, resources, and technology under this program.
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in civil engineering, computer science, or business administration, is required for this position as well as a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a closely related field is required, with at least five years of management and administrative experience in software development and maintenance projects.
The second is full-time staff accountant position. Candidates are expected to have a minimum of five years professional experience with progressive growth of responsibilities, specifically in an accounting and/or financial environment. A bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or a related field, is required.
